Roy Clive Abraham, born 6 December 1890, in Melbourne, Australia - died 22 June 1963, Hendon, London, England) was a key figure in African language scholarship during the twentieth century. He worked for over thirty years on a wide range of disparate languages. From 1923 to 1924 Abraham was at Balliol College, Oxford.
